The closest we can get to Allah in this Dunya is in Salah, particularly in prostration. We lower our knees and forehead to the earth, to the dirt the lowest of all elements. Not only does it instill humility in the depths of our souls but it also reminds us where we are from.
We have been created from the earth, born in the wombs of our mothers, taking the journey of life and soon to taste death, returning us to the depths of the earth. Whereupon reality will become crystal clear…

Pics from MuslimFest
So here are the pictures my sister took from MuslimFest. She had a headache so she only took a few.
nice shots. I've heard muslimfest is quite an event and then when it comes to the entertainment part..everyone has their individual opinions. Nice to see such a gathering with muslims... pros and cons to all. Alhumdulillah..
Ah yes, the entertainment part. Haha I skipped it due to umm...well what you said, “everyone has their individual opinions”. But alhamduillah it was quite an interesting day, for me it’s only about the art exhibit, selfish I know :D
I saw pictures of your paintings.. mashallah they are brilliant. I also saw footage of other people's work, I must say... there are amazing talents out there. Mashallah.

This is the first time I put an audio on, hmmm it's working for me...I don't know. I'll have to play around with it and see what I can do. InshaAllah I shall get it working soon :D
Hmph...I can't hear it on this comp anyway because the sound card's busted *sigh*. Oh well...I guess I'll just have to improvise. Maybe I'll steal- I mean borrow- your c.d......muahahaha..right..*cough*
if you want to keep it as window media player, the only problem maybe that the file isn't hosted properly.. if u want I can host it for u and u can add the file back or if u don't mind real player then this is the code:
