The closest we can get to Allah in this Dunya is in Salah, particularly in prostration. We lower our knees and forehead to the earth, to the dirt the lowest of all elements. Not only does it instill humility in the depths of our souls but it also reminds us where we are from.
We have been created from the earth, born in the wombs of our mothers, taking the journey of life and soon to taste death, returning us to the depths of the earth. Whereupon reality will become crystal clear…

Mmm, Cheesecake
As salaamu alaikum
I decided to finally make my cheesecake yesterday...and after quite a while of delaying, I got to it. I left it in the fridge overnight, and decorated it just now..with whipped cream and chocolate - Aero to be precise. I love cheesecake *faint*

ReplyDeleteI actually got the recipe off the back of the philly cream cheese box thing...and add a bit of things here and there..but that's all lol.
Alhamdulillah tastes great as well! I would share it if I could though :P I guess we'll just have to depend on future technology for that then eh lol
or.. fate lol... we may just meet one day :O lol inshallah.
